个人简介:

徐洋教授于1989年获武汉大学生物系学士学位,1994年获得哈佛大学博士学位,主攻免疫学方向;1994-1997年于美国麻省理工学院(MIT)跟随诺贝尔奖获得者Dr. David Baltimore从事博士后研究工作,主攻免疫学及癌症研究。徐教授于1997年成为加州大学圣地亚哥分校(UCSD)生命科学院助理教授,于2008年晋升为终身职正教授。 徐教授是再生医学及癌症研究领域的领军人物之一,在癌症抑制基因的功能以及多能干细胞基础研究及临床运用等领域取得了杰出的成果,其研究成果为干细胞治疗、新药开发等奠定了基础。徐教授在国际权威期刊如Nature、Nature Cell Biology, Cell Stem Cell等杂志发表论文70余篇,被引用次数达6500余次。徐教授的科研工作获得了美国联邦政府和加州政府的大力支持,主持了美国联邦政府(NIH、DOD)和加州再生医学研究所(California Institute for Regenerative Medicine)等单位资助的15余项科研项目,在近五年共获得近一千四百万美元的科研项目基金资助;近两年来在国内带领团队成功申报干细胞相关的国家973课题、肝癌“十二五”项目,并获得2014年国家自然科学基金委重点研究项目的资助,进一步表明了在干细胞领域的领军地位。 徐教授于2012年入选中组部第八批短期创新“千人计划”,现任南方医科大学肿瘤研究所所长。
