TCM Summer Program

Based on a Renewing Agreement between SMU and UWH, SMU initiated a non-profit TCM Summer Program for the medical students from UWH in July, 2014. There are 9 German students coming to SMU to have a 4-week TCM course provided by School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, SMU. The content of this program includes introductory lectures about TCM, outpatient visiting, experimental operation for processing Traditional Chinese Drugs, acupuncture & moxibustion, excise of Taiji Boxing and so on. The feedback of the participants shows this program not only bring them a unique experience of TCM, refresh their philosophy about Medicine, but also help them have a better understanding of Chinese culture and make many Chinese friends.
