研究概述
人类大脑由数千亿个神经元和胶质细胞共同构成,神经元之间通过千万亿个突触连接形成精密且有序的功能性环路网络,支持信息在大脑中传递、编码和储存;而胶质细胞遍布神经元周围,对神经元功能网络正常运转起到重要的调控、营养、保护和支持等作用,这些是大脑高级功能正常开展的基础。课题组研究方向围绕胶质细胞和神经元互作机制及生理和病理功能展开,主要聚焦小胶质细胞对神经元功能网络活动的调控作用。借助离体多通道全细胞膜片钳、在体双光子成像和光遗传学、病毒介导的神经环路示踪、免疫化学及免疫组织化学等技术,解析小胶质细胞如何参与大脑高级感觉认知活动,以及与神经系统疾病如阿尔兹海默病、抑郁症、自闭症、慢性神经痛和恐惧记忆消退障碍等的关系。先后获得国家自然科学基金青年项目、面上项目(2项)、国家重点研发计划(研究骨干)、广东省自然科学基金面上项目(2项)、广州市重点研发计划(合作)等项目的资助,入选广东省“珠江人才计划”青年拔尖人才。
