Introduction of Degree Programs

Bachelor’s Degree Programs: The programs are 4-6 years long. After successfully completing all courses required by the specific program and passing the examinations in each semester, the qualified will be issued the Graduation Certificate and the Bachelor’s Degree Certificate. All programs are delivered in Chinese except the Clinical Medicine program (the MBBS program) which is delivered in English.

Master’s Degree Programs: The programs are no more than 3 years. After successfully completing all courses required by the specific program, delivering the thesis and passing the thesis defense, the qualified will be issued the Graduate Certificate and the Master’s Degree Certificate. Programs are delivered in both Chinese and English.

Doctor’s Degree Programs: The programs are 3-5 years long. After successfully completing all courses required by the specific program, making the academic achievement required by the program, delivering the dissertation and passing the dissertation defense, the qualified will be issued the Graduate Certificate and the Doctor’s Degree Certificate. Programs are delivered in both Chinese and English.

Junior Non-degree Programs: The candidates for the programs should have already had the Bachelor’s Degree or above. The candidate can choose to study the undergraduate courses or study medical language in Chinese. Upon successful completion of all courses required by the specific program, the qualified will be issued the certificate. Programs are delivered in both Chinese and English.

Senior Non-degree Programs: The programs are often one year long or above and designed for candidates who have already had the Master’s Degree or above. The candidates are to carry on their research projects or to study professional knowledge after being admitted by the University. Programs are delivered in both Chinese and English.
