肖向阳

教育(进修)背景:

1989年7月,毕业于武汉大学英文系,获学士学位。

2010年12月,毕业于华南师范大学外文学院,获英语语言文学硕士学位。

2010年2月至8月,美国俄亥俄州立大学英文系访问学者。

2015年2月至今,澳大利亚塔斯马尼亚大学(University of Tasmania)教育学院博士(在读)。

工作背景:

1989年7月至1996年9月:任教于国防科技大学。

1996年9月至今:任教于南方医科大学(原第一军医大学)。

2002年12月,晋升副教授。

2006年4月至2010年4月,任大学英语教学部副主任。

2010年4月至2014年4月,任大学英语教学部主任。

  1. 2007-2012,《体验式英语教学理论与实践子课题:体验式英语教学的过程研究》,国家社科基金项目子课题(项目编号:06BYY0220411),高等教育出版社有限公司,结题时间:2012年8月,审核合格。负责人:肖向阳课题成员:许瑾、陈薇、吕桂、金敏娜。

  2. 2007-2009,《网络辅助英语写作的应用与实践》,南方医科大学。

  3. 2008-2009,《大学英语网络教学中的小组互助式学习模式探索》(项目代码:B1040701),南方医科大学。

  4. 2007-2008,指导学生校级课外科研课题《国内外医学人士英语考试分析与探索》,发表课题论文6篇。

Educational Background and Working Experience

• In 1989, I graduated from the Department of English, Wuhan University with a Bachelor's degree.

• Since then I have been working as a teacher of English, first in the University of National Defense and Technology (1989-1996), and then in Southern Medical University (1996-).

• In 2010, I obtained master's degree in English literature from School of Foreign Studies, South China Normal University.

• From February 2010 to August 2010, I studied as a visiting scholar at the Department of English, Ohio State University, focusing on American Literature (of late 19thCentury and the early 20thCentury).

• I am now an external full-time PhD candidate of the Faculty of Education, University of Tasmania, Australia. Her research project is: Building critical thinking into students through literary study writing in a Chinese medical university.

Interest Fields

My research interests lie mainly in English Literature and English Teaching Methodology.
