周欣,男,博士,中国科学院精密测量科学与技术创新研究院(由原中国科学院武汉物理与数学研究所和中国科学院测量与地球物理研究所融合组建)院长,研究员,博导。基金委创新研究群体项目负责人,国家杰出青年基金、国家重大科研仪器设备研制专项(部委推荐)和国家重点研发计划首席科学家。现任基金委国家重大科研仪器设备研制项目专家委员会委员,中国物理学会波谱专业委员会常务副主任委员,中国生物物理学会分子影像学专委会副主任委员。曾获"CCTV 2018年度全国十大科技创新人物"、全国创新争先奖、"2020年中国科学院年度创新人"、湖北省技术发明一等奖、首届"科学探索奖""中国科学院青年科学家奖""王天眷波谱学奖"等多项荣誉。

主要从事医学影像的新仪器、新技术及活体分子成像方面的研究。自主研制了世界上增强倍数最高的人体肺部气体磁共振成像(MRI)仪器,成功"点亮"肺部,解决了传统MRI对肺部空腔无法清晰成像的难题,应用至武汉市金银潭医院、北京301医院等全国多家三甲医院,合作开展了新冠肺炎、慢阻肺、肿瘤等临床研究。发展了多核MRI新技术,研制了系列新型造影剂,为脑部重大疾病和肿瘤的早期检测提供了全新的医学影像仪器与手段。在PNASScience子刊、Angew Chem等学术刊物上发表论文150余篇,授权及受理国内外发明专利100余件。
